Ofri Gross, tenor, born in Israel in 29/10/91, recently graduated his bachelor degree in Vocal performance from the Jerusalem Academy for Music and Dance in the class of Ms. Marina Levitt and Dr. Ido Ariel. Ofri began singing at a young age and took part in various projects both in ensembles and as a soloist. Ofri was awarded an America-Israel Cultural Foundation scholarship in the years 2010-2012 and 2018-2020, a grant of excellence from the Jerusalem Academy for Music and Dance and also a scholarship from the Ronen Foundation. Ofri performed as Horace in the Jerusalem opera’s production of La Colombe, as Don Pelagio in the Jerusalem academy and the Piccolo Opera festival’s production of La Canterina, as Basilio in the Jerusalem Lyric Opera Festival’s production of Le Nozze di Figaro, as Second Priest and First Armed Man in the Jerusalem Opera production of Die Zauberflöte, as Spoletta in the Haifa Symphony Orchestra's production of Tosca, as Gastone in the Ashdod Orchestra's production of La Traviata, and as Tamino in the Ramat Gan Symphony Orchestra's production of Die Zauberflöte. Also, he performed as Uriel in Die Schöpfung with the NK Orchestra and as a soloist in Monteverdi vespers with the Jerusalem Baroque Orchestra. A long side that Ofri was a member of the Jerusalem Academy Chamber Choir conducted by Prof. Stanley Sperber
עפרי גרוס, טנור, נולד בישראל ב-29/10/91. בוגר תואר ראשון של האקדמיה למוסיקה ולמחול בירושלים בכיתתם של מרינה לויט וד"ר עידו אריאל. עפרי החל לשיר בגיל צעיר והשתתף בפסטיבלים ופרויקטים שונים - הן בהרכבים שונים והן כסולן. עפרי זכה במלגות מטעם קרן התרבות אמריקה-ישראל בין השנים 2010-2012 ובשנת 2018-2020, במענק הצטיינות מטעם האקדמיה למוסיקה ולמחול בירושלים, וכן במלגה מטעם קרן רונן. עפרי הופיע בתפקיד הוראס באופרה היונה בהפקה של האופרה הירושלמית, , בתפקיד בזיליו באופרה נישואי פיגארו בהפקה של הליריק אופרה פסטיבל בירושלים, בתפקיד דון פלאג'יו באופרה לה קנטרינה בהפקה של האקדמיה למוסיקה ולמחול בירושלים ובפסטיבל Piccolo Opera באיטליה, בתפקידים כהן שני וחייל ראשון באופרה "חליל הקסם" בהפקה של האופרה הירושלמית, בתפקיד ספולטה באופרה "טוסקה" בהפקה של התזמורת הסימפונית חיפה, בתפקיד גסטונה באופרה לה "טרוויאטה" בהפקה של תזמורת אשדוד, בתפקיד טמינו באופרה "חליל הקסם" בהפקה של התזמורת הסימפונית רמת גן. בנוסף הוא הופיע בתפקיד אוריאל באורטוריה בריאת העולם בפרויקט של התזמורת הקאמרית הקיבוצית של נתניה ובקונצרט תפילות ערב של מונטוורדי של תזמורת הבארוק הירושלמית. כמו כן, עפרי היה חבר במקהלה הקאמרית של האקדמיה למוסיקה ומחול בירושלים בניצוחו של סטנלי ספרבר.

I joined the foundation in the summer of 2018, in which I was fortunate to take part in a summer workshop for singers in Tuscany, Italy, thanks to the support I received from the foundation. This was the first time I traveled abroad as a singer and in this workshop, I got to learn from professionals of the highest level and make new connections with colleagues from all around the world. Also, the foundation provides a very special personal attention that is rare to come by in this profession. They always want to catch up on our personal situation and our plans for the future, and accordingly offer ideas or create new connections in preparation for the next step.
אני הצטרפתי לקרן בקיץ של שנת 2018, שבו זכיתי לנסוע לסדנת קיץ לזמרים בטוסקנה שבאיטליה, בזכות תמיכת הקרן. זאת הייתה הפעם הראשונה שנסעתי לחו"ל בתור זמר ובסדנה הזאת זכיתי ללמוד מאנשי מקצוע מהרמה הגבוהה ביותר וליצור קשרים חדשים עם קולגות מרחבי העולם. בנוסף, הקרן מעניקה יחס אישי מאוד מיוחד שנדיר למצוא במקצוע הזה. תמיד דואגים להתעדכן במצבך האישי ובתוכניות לעתיד, ובהתאם מציעים רעיונות או יוצרים קשרים חדשים לקראת הצעד הבא.
