Omer Chalamish, born in 2001, from Moshav Herut in the Sharon region. From a young age, her penchant for performing arts was evident - singing, acting and dancing. Participated over the years in various classes and productions.
At the age of 8, she joined the Moran Choir in Moshav Beit Yitzhak, where she actively participated for nine years. During these years she participated in various performances and events, including excerpts from Mendelssohn's Midsummer Night's Dream, The Magic Flute with the Children's Philharmonic, Isra and Yishma (Mirik Snir, Haim Fremont), The Thieves of Kisses (Nava Semel, Moshe Zorman), Adapted by Ella Sharif), productions at the Israeli Opera - Tosca, Wetzek, Othello, and more. She has also performed at festivals around the world in Paris, Basel, Korea, Estonia and China.
In the ninth grade, she decided to study classical music at the Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts. During these years, she acquired knowledge and skills that are a significant part of her professional development. At the same time, she studied voice development with Anat Efrati , performed as a soloist at events for the preservation of Yiddish heritage as well as concerts with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and the Israel Symphony Orchestra Beer Sheva conducted by Chen Zimbalista.
During high school years she was exposed to new fields of art and creative spaces that strengthened her desire to expand her horizons. So she made sure to keep dancing in a variety of styles including classic, modern and Jazz. She also participated in the Cameri Theater's biennial youth preparatory play.
In the twelfth grade, she performed a matriculation recital, after which she was invited to a national recital competition, in which she won first place.
After graduating from high school, she decided to take a break from professional artistic development and embark on a year of activity in the pre-military preparatory school - "Tavor", in order to deepen the connection to the nation, the state and the community.
עומר חלמיש, ילידת 2001, ממושב חרות שבשרון. מגיל צעיר ניכרה נטייתה לאומנויות הבמה- שירה, משחק וריקוד. השתתפה לאורך השנים בחוגים והפקות שונות.
בגיל 8 הצטרפה למקהלת מורן במושב בית יצחק, בה השתתפה באופן פעיל במשך תשע שנים. במהלך שנים אלה השתתפה בהופעות ואירועים שונים ביניהם קטעים מתוך חלום ליל קיץ של מנדלסון, חליל הקסם עם הפלהרמונית לילדים, ישרא וישמע (מיריק שניר, חיים פרמונט) גונבי הנשיקות (נאווה סמל, משה זורמן), ג'ונג'ון (מאת יוסי בנאי בעיבודה של אלה שריף), הפקות באופרה הישראלית- טוסקה, ווצק, אותלו, ועוד. כמו כן, הופיעה בפסטיבלים ברחבי העולם בפריז, באזל, קוריאה, אסטוניה וסין.
בכתה ט' החליטה לעבור ללמוד בתיכון לאומנויות ע"ש תלמה ילין במגמת המוסיקה הקלאסית. בשנים אלה בהן, רכשה כלים ומיומנויות המהווים חלק משמעותי בהתפתחותה המקצועית. במקביל, למדה פיתוח קול אצל ענת אפרתי והופיעה כסולנית באירועים לשימור מורשת היידיש וכן, קונצרטים עם התזמורת הפילהרמונית הישראלית והסינפונייטה הישראלית באר שבע בניצוחו של חן צימבליסטה.
בשנות התיכון נחשפה לתחומי אומנות ומרחבי יצירה חדשים אשר חיזקו בה את הרצון להרחיב אופקיה. לכן הקפידה להמשיך ולרקוד במגוון סגנונות ביניהם קלאסי, מודרני וגאז'. כמו כן, השתתפה במכינת הנוער הדו שנתית למשחק של תיאטרון הקאמרי.
בכיתה יב', ביצעה רסיטל בגרות שלאחריו הוזמנה לתחרות רסיטלים ארצית, אשר בה זכתה במקום הראשון.
בסיום הלימודים בתיכון, החליטה לקחת פסק זמן מההתפתחות המקצועית האמנותית ולצאת לשנת פעילות במכינה הקדם צבאית- "תבור", כדי להעמיק את החיבור לעם, למדינה ולקהילה.
במהלך שנה זו לצד הרחבת צבירת חוויות מכוננות ורכישת ידע, התגבשה בה ההחלטה כי בכוונתה לחזור ולעסוק במוסיקה בהמשך חייה.
בימים אלה, מתגייסת לתזמורת צה"ל ושמחה על הזכות שנפלה בחלקה לשלב בין שירות המדינה ועולם היצירה האמנותית

I met Yaffa Israeli in 2019 in a special concert that took place as part of a workshop at Thelma Yellin School where I studied. Few days later, she called me and shared that she was very impressed with me. Yaffa welcomed me with open arms into the Ronen Foundation family and since then, she has accompanied me with wonderful sensitivity, advising and expressing full support for my choices and moves. Yaffa's personal treatment of each and every one of the members of the Foundation is inspiring to me. I am proud for the privilege to be a part of this special family.
את יפה ישראלי הכרתי ב2019 בקונצרט מיוחד שהתקיים במסגרת סדנה בביה"ס תלמה ילין בו למדתי. באחד הימים שלאחר מכן, התקשרה אליי ושיתפה שהתרשמה ממני מאוד. יפה קיבלה אותי בזרועות פתוחות אל תוך משפחת "קרן רונן" ומאז, מלווה אותי ברגישות מופלאה, מייעצת ומביעה תמיכה מלאה בבחירותיי ומהלכיי. היחס האישי של יפה לכל אחד ואחת מחברי הקרן מעוררת השראה בעיניי. אני שמחה על הזכות שנפלה בחלקי להיות חלק מהמשפחה המיוחדת הזו.
