מאיה סייג, זמרת סופרן, נולדה בתל אביב בשנת 2000.
מאיה זוכת פרסים בתחרויות שונות, ביניהן מקום ראשון בתחרות אור צעיר (2017), מקום ראשון בתחרות הארצית לתלמידים מצטיינים במוזיקה בתחום הקלאסי מטעם משרד החינוך (2018).
זוכת מלגות קרן רונן וקרן אמריקה ישראל.
הופעות הסולו של מאיה כוללות את תפקיד הסופרן, Pie Jesu, ברקוויאם של פורה; תפקיד הסופרן, domine deus, בגלוריה של ויואלדי; תפקיד הסופרן במגניפיקט של ויואלדי וסולנית בפסטיבל למוזיקה ווקאלית באבו גוש.
בוגרת התוכנית לזמרים מצטיינים במרכז למוזיקה ירושלים - משכנות שאננים, במסגרתה השתתפה בכיתות אמן עם דניאל כהן, פרופ. קרולה טייל, עודד רייך, צבי זמל, טים פאלון, עמיאל בושקביץ, יובל צורן, שירית לי וייס וג'נט פאברו. ביולי 2019 השתתפה בסדנאת האופרה הבינלאומית בתל אביב, שם עבדה בהדרכת מורים, מנצחים וקואוצ׳ים מובילים בתחום כגון אבי פורמסקי, מארק שנייבל, קווין מרפי, כריס כראנס ועוד.
באוגוסט 2019 השתתפה במאסטרקלאס הבינלאומי לשירה אומנותית ע"ש ז'מבוקי בירושלים. במסגרת זו שרה כסולנית בגאלה התזמורתית, והופיעה בתפקידים ״באז״ ו״מוקסו״ בפריימירת הפקת האופרה ישראלית “When he was good”.
במהלך השנים 2011-2018 היתה חברה במקהלת בת קול בקונסרבטוריון הישראלי למוזיקה בתל אביב בניצוחה של ענת מורג. במשך 4 שנים למדה פיתוח קול בהדרכת ענת מורג בקונסרבטוריון הישראלי למוזיקה. מאיה הופיעה כסולנית מקהלת בת קול בהופעות וטקסים בארץ ובחו"ל (טקס במשואה, פסטיבל אבו גוש, כנס מקהלות משרד החינוך, ברצלונה, גרמניה, שוויץ וסין).
מאיה סיימה בהצטיינות את תיכון "תלמה ילין" לאומנויות במגמת המוזיקה קלאסית.
החל משנת 2016 לומדת פיתוח קול בהדרכת אפרת בן נון מביה"ס למוזיקה ע"ש בוכמן-מהטה באוניברסיטת תל אביב.
בספטמבר 2018 התגייסה לצה"ל במעמד של מוזיקאי מצטיין.
באוקטובר 2018 החלה את לימודיה בביה״ס למוזיקה ע״ש בוכמן מהטה באוניברסיטת תל אביב, ושם שרה כסולנית בקונצרטים "בארץ חמדת אבות", ובקונצרט במסגרת פסטיבל ווקס פמינה "מלחינות מבצעות".
Soprano Maya Sayag, born in Tel Aviv (2000) is a prizewinner of several competitions, including grand first prize in the National Competition for Excellent Classical Music Students sponsored by the Israeli Ministry of Education (2018) and first prize in "Or-Tsair" competition (2017).
She is a recipient of excellence scholarships from the Ronen Foundation (2017-2019) and the America-Israel Cultural Foundation (2018-2019).
Maya's solo performances include the soprano solo, Pie Jesu, in Fauré Requiem, the soprano solo in Vivaldi’s Gloria and Magnificat, "The turtle dove", and "Ave Maria" solo in "Abu Gosh Music Festival".
She is a graduate of the Jerusalem Music Centre program for excellent young singers, where she participated in master classes with leading conductors and artists such as Daniel Cohen, Jeanette Favaro, Prof. Karola Theill, Ammiel Bushakevitz and Timothy Fallon.
As a participant in the International Summer Opera program in Tel Aviv 2019, she worked under the guidance of leading coaches and singers such as Kevin Murphy, Mark Schnaible, Abbie Furmansky, Gary Jankowski, Chris Crans and more.
Moreover in 2019 she participated in the International Masters of Vocal Arts, Jerusalem. There she performed as a soloist in the orchestral Gala under the baton of maestro Adi Bar. She sang the roles of "Baaz" and "Moxo" in "When he was good" - Israeli modern opera premiere.
Maya was a member of the "Bat-Kol" girl choir conducted by Anat Morag, and performed as "Bat-Kol" choir soloist in various ceremonies and concerts in Israel as well as in festivals abroad (Barcelona, Germany, Swiss and China).
She graduated Cum Laude from the Thelma Yellin High School of Music and Arts in 2018, where she majored in classical music.
She was recognized by the army as an “Outstanding Musician”. 0n October 2018 she started her academic studies towards a B.Mus degree at Tel Aviv University's Buchmann - Mehta school of music under the guidance of Efrat Ben Nun.

הקשר שלי עם קרן רונן, ועם יפה, התחיל כשהייתי תלמידת תיכון, זמרת צעירה וטרייה, בקונצרט של התוכנית לזמרים צעירים מצטיינים של המרכז למוזיקה משכנות שאננים. יפה ניגשה אליי בסוף הקונצרט ושאלה לשמי, וכך הכל התחיל - תמיכה כלכלית, נפשית, שיחות על קריירה, על אהבה והחיים.
לא אשכח את הערב הזה, ואת ההתרגשות של יפה ממני אז, ההתרגשות הזו נתנה לי עוד ביטחון להמשיך ולהתקדם, להאמין בעצמי. מאז יפה תמיד הייתה שם להודעות משמחות, מתעניינת ושואלת איך דברים מתקדמים. יפה היא אישיות מדהימה ונערצת, ואני שמחה שכך באופן מקרי, הצטלבנו דרכינו. אין ספק שלהיכרות שלי עם הקרן יש השפעה עמוקה על המסלול המקצועי שלי, ואני גאה להיות חלק ממשפחת ״קרן רונן״ ולהופיע בקונצרטים שיפה מארגנת.
My relationship with the Ronen Foundation, and with Yaffa, began when I was a high school student, a young and fresh singer, at a concert of the Jerusalem Music Centre for excellent young singers program.
Yaffa approached me at the end of the concert and asked for my name, and that's where it all started - financial support, mental support, conversations about career, love, life.
I will not forget this evening, and the excitement that Yaffa showed for me, this excitement gave me more confidence to keep moving forward, to believe in myself.
Since then Yaffa has always been there for happy messages and always interested and asking what’s going on. Yaffa is an amazing and revered personality, and I'm glad that by chance, we crossed paths.
There is no doubt that my familiarity with the foundation has a profound impact on my professional track.
