From the rock clubs of the Lower East Side to Carnegie Hall, Gilad’s musical career has encompasses a wide scope of performance environments and styles, highlighting his vocal abilities in different genres.
Equally comfortable fronting a 5-piece band, singing as soloist with a full orchestra and chorus, or appearing in a stadium in front of thousands, Gilad brings passion and infectious energy to every performance.
Having grown up listening to both popular and classical music, he always looks for ways to incorporate both genres into his artistic life, and brings his excellent technique and theatrical performing style into every show and to every audience.
He is co-founder and performer in VOCE NOVA, a crossover duo that combines the luxury of opera with the excitement of classic and contemporary pop music. The act was featured on season 15 of America’s Got Talent!
In 2016 Gilad debuted OPROCK, a unique pops concert that combines the greatest hits of opera with the greatest hits of classic rock. He is the creator and lead performer of this show.
Mr. Paz’s credits include the roles of Tony in West Side Story, Tom Rakewell in Stravinsky’s The Rake’s Progress, Mayor Upfold in Britten’s Albert Herring, Azaël in Debussy’s L’enfant prodigue, Tonio in La fille du regiment, Anthony in Sweeney Todd, the Duke in Rigoletto, Tamino in Die Zauberflöte, Scaramuccio, the Tanzmeister, and Brighella in three different productions of Ariadne auf Naxos, Tybalt in Roméo et Juliette, Princ in Dvořak’s Rusalka, Orfeo in Monteverdi’s L’Orfeo, Spalanzani and Nathanael in Les contes d’Hoffmann, and the Witch in Hänsel & Gretel.
His concert highlights include tenor soloist in Carmina Burana, Benjamin Britten’s War Requiem, Bernstein’s Songfest, Handel’s Messiah, Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, Missa Solemnis, Bach’s Magnificat, and Mozart’s Coronation Mass K.317, as well as the roles of Judas in Judas Maccabaeus, and the Evangelist in Bach’s St. John Passion. He also appeared as soloist in both St. Patrick’s Cathedral and the Stern Auditorium at Carnegie Hall.
2005 marked Gilad’s return to NYC from his native Israel, where he performed on some of the country’s biggest stages, to pursue his singing career. He is a graduate of the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College - CUNY, and is the recipient of multiple awards and scholarships.
Gilad is also a vocal advocate for the musician community, and is a certified success coach and business consultant for musicians through his platform, The Marketable Musician. Through this practice he empowers and helps artists to create financially stable lives that will allow them to live the artistically fulfilling lives of their dreams!

הוא אחד המייסדים ומופיע עם VOCE NOVA, צמד ”crossover“ המשלב את היוקרה של עולם האופרה עם ההתלהבות והחדשנות של מוזיקת פופ קלאסית ועכשווית. הצמד גם הופיע בעונה מספר 15 של התכנית הפופולרית הבינלאומית ״אמריקה גוט טאלנט״!
בנוסף הפיק גלעד את OPROCK, קונצרט ייחודי המשלב את הלהיטים הגדולים ביותר של האופרה עם הלהיטים הגדולים ביותר מעולם הרוק הקלאסי. במופע זה הוא היוצר והמבצע הראשי.
גלעד הופיע בין השאר בתפקיד טוני ב״סיפור פרברים״, טום רייקוול ב״דרכו של הולל״, ראש העיר ב״אלברט הרינג״, אזאל ב״הבן האובד״, טוניו ב״בת הגדוד״, אנתוני ב״סוויני טוד״, הדוכס ב״ריגולטו״, טמינו ב״חליל הקסם״, סקארמוצ׳ו, המורה למחול, ובריגלה בשלוש הפקות שונות של ״אריאדנה בנקסוס״, טיבאלט ב״רומיאו ויוליה״, הנסיך ב״רוסלקה, אורפאו ב״אורפאו״, ספלנצאני ונתנאל ב״סיפורי הופמן״, והמכשפה ב״הנזל וגרטל״.
על במת הקונצרטים גלעד הופיע כסולן ב״כרמינה בורנה״, ״רקוויאם מלחמה״ של בריטן, ״פסטיבל השירים״ של ברנשטיין, ״משיח״, הסימפוניה התשיעית של בטהובן, ״מיסה סולמניס״, ״מגניפיקט״ של באך, ו״מיסת ההכתרה״ של מוצרט. כמו כן שר את תפקיד יהודה ב״יהודה המכבי״ והאוונגליסט ב״יוהנס פסיון״. גלעד גם הופיע כסולן בקתדרלת סנט פטריק בניו יורק ובהיכל שטרן בקרנגי הול.
אחרי שנת לימודים בבית הספר ״רימון״ למוזיקה ושירות צבאי בלהקת חיל השיריון, בשנת 2005 עבר גלעד לניו יורק בכדי להמשיך בקריירת השירה שלו. הוא בוגר בית הספר למוזיקה ע״ש קופלנד בקווינס קולג', וזכה במספר פרסים ומלגות.
גלעד הוא תומך ווקאלי ביותר בקהילת המוזיקאים והינו קואוצ׳ר הצלחה מוסמך ויועץ עסקי למוזיקאים. באמצעות הפלטפורמה שלו, The Marketable Musician, הוא מעצים אמנים ועוזר להם ליצור חיים יציבים כלכלית שיאפשרו להם לחיות את החיים האמנותיים שעליהם הם! חולמים

It has been many years since my relations with the Ronen Foundation has begun. The foundation has made it possible for me to create a number of projects in Israel and abroad.The defining character of the foundation in my opinion is the personal connection with the foundation as a whole, and especially Yaffa. The foundation does not offer me only financial support, but also a sense of community, and a place to grow as an artist and as a person.
The foundation’s concerts are always a great opportunity to create new collaborations with other foundation members. The concerts offer a variety of musical styles, all performed at a very high level.
כבר שנים רבות הקרן מהווה חלק חשוב בעשייה המוזיקלית שלי. הקרן סייעה לי להוציא לפועל פרויקטים שונים במשך השנים בארץ ובח"ול. המיוחד בקרן רונן, הוא היחס האישי והתחושה המשפחתית. הקרן מהווה לא רק תמיכה כלכלית, אלא גם אוזן קשבת ומקום להתפתח בו הן כאמן והן כאדם.
קונצרטי הקרן מאפשרים שיתופי פעולה יוצאי דופן ונהדרים בין חברי הקרן ונותנים במה לסוגים שונים של מוזיקה, וכולם מבוצעים ברמה הגבוהה ביותר.
