ערן נולד בפתח תקווה (ישראל) במאי 1994. בגיל 8 החל ערן את לימודיו בכלי הקשה בקונסרבטוריון פתח תקווה בכיתתו של מר' ואדים ז'אלייב. בקונסרבטוריון, היה מו
ביל סקצית כלי ההקשה של תזמורת הנוער הייצוגית בניצוחו של מיכאל דלמן ונגן מוביל של הרכב כלי ההקשה.לפני שמונה שנים החל ללמוד שירה אצל הגב' דנה גלזר. ביוני 2017 סיים את לימודיו לקראת תואר ראשון במוזיקה (כלי הקשה) בבית הספר למוזיקה בוכמן-מהטה של אוניברסיטת תל אביב בכיתתו של מר' אלון בור (נגן כלי הקשה ראשי של הפילהרמונית הישראלית לשעבר). ערן המשיך את לימודיו (שנה ב') לקראת תואר בזמרה בכיתתה של הגב' דנה גלזר (בית האופרה בבולוניה, בית האופרה של פירנצה, פסטיבל האופרה בורונה וכו'). את הלימודים התחיל תוך כדי שירות צבאי כמוזיקאי מצטיין בחיל החינוך והנוער של צה"ל (2012-2015) . במסגרת לימודיו שר ערן במקהלה הקאמרית של בית ספר תחת מאסטרו רונן בורשבסקי, בכיתת האופרה תחת פרופ׳ תמר רחום וכן השתתף בהפקת ״נישואי פיגרו״ מאת מוצרט תחת מאסטרו איאן שו (בתפקיד אנטוניו). כנגן, ערן ניגן בתזמורת הסימפונית, הרכב כלי ההקשה והסדנה למוזיקה בת זמננו של בית הספר למוזיקה בוכמן-מהטה. ביולי 2017 נבחר ע״י מאסטרו זובין מהטה לנגן סולו בקונצרט הגאלה של בית הספר שהתקיים בינואר 2019. במאי 2020, השלים ערן את לימודי התואר שני בבית הספר למוזיקה בברוקלין קולג׳ שם למד אצל מר׳ מארק שנייבלי (מטרופוליטן אופרה) שביכתות אמן שלו השתתף מספר פעמים בעבר (באופרה הישראלית, ב״קומיש אופר״ בברלין ובניו יורק). במהלך לימודיו בניו יורק שר בהפקות ״הנער והקסמים״ מאת ראוול (השעון),״ג׳אני סקיקי״ מאת פוצ׳יני (מרקו), ״חליל הקסם״ מאת מוצרט (מונוסטטוס) ועוד קונצרטים רבים. בשלוש השנים האחרונות ערן שר גם בסדנת הקיץ בתל אביב שם השתתף בין היתר בהפקת ג׳אני סקיקי״ מאת פוצ׳יני (מרקו) ובקונצרטים נוספים.
בנוסף ללימודיו, כיהן כנגן ראשון בתזמורת הפילהרמונית הישראלית הצעירה במספר כנסים. בשנים האחרונות החל ערן להעביר הלאה את האהבה שלו למקצוע ואת הידע שרכש במהלך השנים. הוא זכה להדריך במספר קורסים של התזמורת הפילהרמונית הישראלית הצעירה, תזמורת הנוער הלאומית, תזמורת הנוער בפתח בפתח תקווה ובשנים האחרונות עובד עם תזמורת קונסרבטוריון "הסדנה" בירושלים, בניצוחה של גב' שגית מזוז כמדריך לנגינה בתזמורת וכנגן מתגבר. יחד עם התזמורת זכה במקומות הראשונים בתחרויות בניו יורק (2014) ובוינה (2016). בנוסף לזה, ניגן גם בהרכב "טרמולו" בהדרכתו של מר' תומר יריב ("פרקדו"), איתו הופיע בפסטיבל ישראל (יוני 2014) ובהצגה "גורודיש" של התיאטרון הקאמרי (2014-2016). כמו כן, ערן ניגן עם התזמורות המובילות בישראל כמו הפילהרמונית הישראלית, הסימפונית ירושלים, הסימפונית חיפה, הסימפונית הישראלית ראשון לציון ועוד תחת שרביטם של מנצחים כמו מאסטרו זובין מהטה, אנדראה בטיסטוני, שו צ'ונג, מנפרד הונק ועוד. כזמר, לקח חלק במקהלת מגמת המוזיקה של תיכון בן גוריון בפתח תקווה, שם למד (2010-2012) ובמקהלת בוגרי "תלמה ילין" בניצוחו של מר' ישי שטקלר, עימה הופיע בשוברטיאדה הישראלית (ינואר 2016) והשתתף בסרטו של אבי נשר "החטאים" (2016). ערן שר במקהלת האופרה הישראלית בניצוחו של מר' איתן שמייסר והשתתף בהפקות "פאוסט" ו"טוסקה" בעונת 2016-17 ובהפקות "לה בוהם", "נבוקו", "דון קרלו", ״דידו ואניאס״ ו"כרמן" בעונת 2017-18.
ערן זכה, בין השאר, במלגות ״קרן שרת״ של קרן התרבות אמריקה ישראל ובמלגת ״פולברייט״ היוקרתית ללימודי תואר שני בארה״ב.
Eran was born in Petach-Tikva (Israel) in May 1994. Since the age of 8, he studied Percussion at the Petach-Tikva Municipal Conservatory under Mr. Vadim Jelayev. Eight years ago, he also started to study singing with Ms. Danna Glaser. Eran studied in the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music where he completed his B.Mus. Degree in Percussion in the class of Mr. Alon Bor and studied in the Vocal class of Ms. Danna Glaser. He started his studies while serving in the Israel Defense Force as an “Excellency Musician” at the Education and Youth Corps (2012-2015). During his studies, Eran sung at the school’s Chamber Choir, Opera Class and portrayted Antonio in the production of Mozart’s “Le nozze di Figaro”. As a percussion student,
Eran played at the School’s symphonic Orchestra, Percussion ensemble and Contemporary Music Workshop. In July 2017 he was chosen by Maestro Zubin Mehta to play a solo in the school Gala Concert which took place in January 2019. In May 2020, Eran completed his M.Mus Degree in The Conservatory of Music in Brooklyn College where he studied with Mr. Mark Schnaible (the Metropolitan Opera). During his studies in New York he sung in the productions of Ravel’s “L’enfant et les sotileges” (L’horloge comtoise), Puccini’s “Gianni Schicchi” (Marco)’ Mozart’s “Die Zauberflote” (Monostatos) and more. Eran also participates in the “Tel- Aviv Summer Opera” program for the last three years.
Eran used to play in the “Tremolo” Percussion ensemble under Mr. Tomer Yariv (“Precadu”) with whom he performed in the Israel Fesitval (2014) and the “Cameri” Theater show “Gorodish” (2014-2016). During the last years he has played with the major orchestras in Israel: the Israel Philharmonic, the Jerusalem Symphonic Orchestra, the Israeli Symphony – Rishon le'tzion and many more under the batons of conductors like Maestro Zubin Mehta, Andrea Battistoni, Xu Zhong, Manfred Honeck and more. As well for playing The Percussion, Eran sung in Ben Gurion High school (Petach Tikva) Choir (2010-2012), and in the Thelma Yalin School Alumni Choir under MR. Yishai Steckler with whom he performed in the “Israeli Schubertiade” (2016) and the new Avi Nesher movie “The Sins” (Ha’Chataim). Eran was also a member of the Israeli Opera Choir under Mr. Ethan Schmeisser. He sung in the productions of “Faust” and “Tosca” in the 2016-17 season and the productions of "La Boheme", “Nabucco”, “Don Carlo” “Dido and Aeneas” and “Carmen” in the 2017-2018 season.
In addition, Eran shares and passes on his knowledge and passion to music to the younger generation. He was a musical guide at the Young Israel Philharmonic, Young National Youth Wind Orchestra, Petach-Tikva Youth Wind Orchestra and frim 2014 to 2018 at “Hasadna” Conservatory Orchestra (Jerusalem), under Ms. Sagit Mazuz, where he was acting as a teacher for orchestra playing and doubled as an “extra” player. With "Hasadna" he won 1st prizes for outstanding performances both in New York (2014) and Vienna (2016).
Eran Is the recipient of scholarships from “America-Israel Cultural Foundation” and winner of the prestigious “Fulbright” Scholarship.
הקשר עם "קרן רונן" | "My relationship to "Keren Ronen
יפה ואני נפגשנו לפני כמה שנים ורצה הגורל ויצאתי ללימודי תואר שני בניו יורק לפני שהספקתי לעבוד עם הקרן. דווקא שם, הקשר ביני לבין יפה נשמר והתחזק וכעת, משסיימתי את לימודי ושבתי ארצה, הקשר שלי עם הקרן מתחזק גם הוא.
החיבור עם יפה היה מהיר ומרגש ומיד הרגשתי שיש לי, ולחברי האמנים, גב ותמיכה שנדיר למצוא בימים אלה. יפה דואגת לנו בפן האישי ועוזרת לנו, בעזרת הקרן, גם בפן הכלכלי. אפשר לפנות אליה תמיד, עם כל רעיון וליצור ביחד דברים נפלאים ומרגשים.
קרן רונן היא לא סתם קרן אלא משפחה וקהילה, שיפה מטפחת בכל כך הרבה אהבה. כבוד הוא לי להיות חלק מקרן רונן.
Yafa and I met a few years ago, and before I even got to work with the foundation I moved to New York, where I did my Master’s. It is actually there where our connection got stronger and now, when I am back in Israel, my connection to the foundation got this strong.
Yafa and I clicked immediately. Already after our first meeting I had the feeling the I, and my fellow musicians’ friends, have this huge support, which is so rarely seen these days. Yafa is so thoughtful and cares us personally and helps us, through the foundation, financially. You can always approach her with any idea and create together many wonderful, exciting things.
The Ronen Foundation is not like any foundation. It is a family, a community the Yafa nurtures with so much love. I am honored to be part of the Ronen Faoundation.
