Shira Zemach | שירה צמח

A freshly M.Mus graduate from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, where she studied with professors Chaim Taub and Roi Shiloah, Shira Zemach is a young promising Israeli violinist. Shira is supported by the “America-Israel Cultural Foundation” and “ The Ronen Foundation”, and was also a scholarships winner as a member of the “The Younes and Soraya Nazarian Program of Excellence in Chamber Music”. As part of her studies at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, Shira was permanently leading the academy orchestra as a concertmaster. During her service in the IDF, she was awarded the status of outstanding musician. Shira is an active chamber music musician, she plays in Musethica organization's projects, as well as with her own piano trio (Du Pré Trio). She performed chamber music alongside Miriam Fried and took masterclasses with top level musicians.
