Masha Mershon | מאשה מרשון

Violin | כינור

Masha,born in 2001, started her violin training at the age of five.

Until (2017) studied at the Givataim Concervatory under Elena Mazor. Now Masha studies with Mila Feldman in Buchmann Mehta school of music.


Masha is a second prize winner of "Turgeman Competition" (2009), first prize winner of "Tel-Aviv Competition" (2011) and a second prize winner of the Buchmann-Mehta school of music annual string competition (2020). 


During 2012 she performed through Israel as a recitalist and played as a soloist with Keshet Eilon Chamber Orchestra under the baton of Aduard Grach, with Symphony Orchestra Rishon LeZion under Noam Zur, with The Tel-Aviv Soloists Ensemble under Barak Tal and with The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra under Roni Porat (2013) and Zubin Mehta (2017).


Masha has performed in The America-Israel Cultural Foundation's 73rd Anniversary Gala in New York (2012) and Celebraing 70 years of Israel concert in Athens (2018), Keshe Eilon benefit concert in New York (2014), Jerusalem Music Center benefit concert in London (2018) and New York (2019), The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra benefit concert in Uruguay (2019).


Active participant of Keshet Eilon seminars, "Keshet Eilon summer curses" and the Perlman Music Program.

She participated in many curses of Jerusalem Music Center as The Young Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, The Huberman program in Switzerland (2018) for Outstanding Young Musicians and played in many chamber music ensembles of The David Goldman program.

 She played for great musicians such as Irina Svetlova, Vadim Gluzman, Miriam Fried, Gyorgy Pauk, Ivry Gitlis, Julian Rachlin, Itzhak Perlman, Roza Fain, Sergey Ostrovsky, Grigory Kalinovsky, Murray Perahia Chaim Taub and Ilya Kaler.
