My relationship to Ronen Foundation

During the last year of my bachelor’s degree at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music, a dear listener from the audience approached me at the end of a concert. He had great faith in me, and knowing Yafa Israeli, he wanted me to meet her.

He connected us and we met and sat down for a chat, to get to know each other. Yafa was warm and loving, even before she heard me sing. She showed interest in my dreams and plans for the future, encouraged me and trusted my decisions. She kept supporting me, both sitting in the audience when I performed and behind the stage, as I graduated, got accepted to the Meitar Opera Studio and when I left a year later, to Join the Semperoper Dresden.

I am proud being a part of the Ronen Foundation, which is not only a supporting foundation but also a chain of local networks, a community, of Israeli artists and performers, who grow and support one another.
